Cutting through the noise

Right now, we live in a world of mass communication, we’re overloaded with information on a daily basis, especially via email. And we know that sometimes our nifty little Valuebeat Print invites can get lost in the noise. 

That’s why we’ve teamed up with Slack, to allow People Managers to send Slack notifications to their employees instead of emails. An efficient and engaging way for organizations to communicate.

Using Slack to notify employees directly

With the new integration, admins can choose to notify employees about Print Creation invites, reminders and new Satisfaction Surveys via Slack.

The integration is really simple for admins to implement, by heading to Settings > Integrations > Slack. After clicking ‘add’ they’ll be guided through the next few steps from Slack. 

Once the integration is added, the Valuebeat logo will then appear in the apps section of the dashboard on Slack. 

Personal Slack messages will be sent out at the same time that the email invites and reminders would have been sent, containing the exact same content. A direct and simple reminder, to get straight to the point. Employees can then complete the actions - whether that’s creating or updating their Platypus Print or completing a Satisfaction Survey - by clicking the link provided in the Slack message.

It’s as simple as that!
